I’m the proud librarian at Fasken Elementary, home of the Book Dragons!
I’m a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M International University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts & Science Degree in English Literature with a minor in Creative Writing. Prior to becoming a librarian, I taught middle school for four years at Washington Middle School as an 8th grade ELAR/ECAR teacher and 1.5 years at Lamar Bruni Vergara Middle School as a 7th Grade ELAR teacher. I earned a Master’s Degree in Library Science from the University of North Texas - Denton in 2011. I became the librarian at Finley Elementary in 2022 and joined the Fasken community during the 2026-2027 school year.
