Welcome to Dragonland, Where Great Books And Resources Await You!!

I’m the proud librarian at Fasken Elementary.  I’m a 1997 graduate of Texas A&M International University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Reading.  Additionally, I received certification in Early Childhood Education and Bilingual Education.  Prior to becoming a librarian, I taught kindergarten for seven years at Finley Elementary and then went on to teach at Juarez-Lincoln Elementary as a Kinder Pathfinder.  I then earned a Master’s Degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University.  I became the librarian at Fasken Elementary in 2005 and became part of an extraordinary family.  Come visit our library.  We have so many resources just waiting to be discovered!
